Glamour modelling - facts and tips

Glamour modelling means usually topless or even nude modeling for men's magazines and occasional national newspapers.

Page three modeling is not the best reputation as high art, but there is no reason to glamour modelling must always be sticky or derogatory. There are many opportunities for chic shoots that are partially revealing and even the highest gain, actresses very respected and singers sometimes get off their kit for a writing magazine!

However, if you plan to try to break into glamour modelling, you must be even more vigilant and look out suspicious characters and dangerous situations. The modeling industry in general is a target for scam artists and criminals, feed the dreams of young girls and boys - and glamour modeling are still more attractive for men who want to take advantage of the unsavvy adolescents.

So if you want to be a glamour model, the first thing to do is wise to distance and make sure you're always alert and evaluate any offer that you receive to make sure they are authentic. You should avoid going to castings and jobs only and if something feels wrong, don't wait until it is too late.

Okay - warnings the road. What is the next most important thing for a glamour model to keep in mind? The question to ask yourself is - you really have the right kind of personality to do topless or nude modelling.

This may seem like an attractive idea, an easy way to make a quick buck, in the comfort and privacy of your own home, but to do this kind of work that you must have a very strong personality, a thick skin and be prepared to do things that would make most people very badly at home - that is stripping in front of complete strangers.

Think about whether you really cahoonas for it.

The next thing to consider is if you've thought about the consequences in the long term to have potentially sensitive images in the public domain for the rest of your life (and more!). If, later in life, you decide that you want a career change, how is this is going to be affected by the fact that if you new potential boss Googles your name after a meeting, they are confronted with hundreds of pictures of you in compromising positions?

Once the photos are sold, you have no rights or control where they are used, and they may be reissued over and over again.

So, in summary, if you plan to enter glamour modelling reflect:

If you are smart enough to not get sticky situationsif you have dared pose naked before strangersif that you are not going to regret having everything exposed a few years later

If you do not know you have all this covered, then you might well agree to glamour modelling.
